Wykorzystanie emulsyfikatorów w paszach dla drobiu

Nieustanny rozwój genetyczny nowoczesnych linii brojlerów spowodował ich zwiększone zapotrzebowanie na energię, co w konsekwencji spowodowało konieczność wykorzystywania wysokoenergetycznych pasz (Tancharoenrat i in., 2013). Ze względu na wysoką zawartość pozornej energii metabolicznej (AME) tłuszcze i oleje są często wykorzystywane w dietach dla brojlerów. Zawartość AME w tłuszczach paszowych jest ponad trzykrotnie wyższa niż w innych komponentach paszowych (rys. 1.). Poza zwiększeniem zawartości energii w paszy, dodatek tłuszczu ogranicza pylenie i ogranicza rozwarstwianie się mieszanki (Guerreiro i in., 2011).
